4th of July

D and I went to Boston for the 4th...very patriotic...I know! We had a great time hanging with his family, eating the most delicious bbq ever, and enjoying the chilly Boston weather. We even managed to head to the outlets and I found some amazing items. Fun times, for sure.

His little cousin Stacie, took a few pictures of us....

And of course we had to get one of her. She stayed up and watched all the fireworks and the minute we got back to my mother in laws, she fell right asleep!

Dereck and his mom.
As an added bonus, I got to see Amberli and Atticus (and Darek) when I was there. We had only a few hours to chat, but luckily we talk quickly and were able to cover a lot of ground...thanks again Amberli!

My next helmet will be one of these...

SO cute!

Living the good life

Life is good.
I feel like we've been really busy, but doing fun stuff for a change.
Some of our crazy adventures in no particular order. Ok, they aren't that crazy, but fun times for sure.

Bike ride/picnics --- There is nothing better than riding around brooklyn, finding a nice spot at one of the parks and sharing a delicious sandwich or jamaican patty. Yum! I mean, seriously, what is the basket for if not to hold blankets and treats. Yes, this is me on my bike with a helmet. Yes, I look super nerdy. No, I don't care. (Except when some punk kid makes fun of me or except when I see these hard core skateboarders with the same helmet I have....otherwise I totally don't care.)

Movies at Bryant Park. Every Monday night in the summer there are movies at the park. Here's an example of what it looks like. A movie, tons of people, a beautiful park, right in the heart of the city. Picturesque, really. Didn't bring my camera, so I stole this from the internet.

Good times on the carousel with Sara and Clark

Watching the hunky husband play football as I lay on the beach last weekend. It was the PERFECT day to be out and about. Not too hot, not too cold. A bit crowded, but very nice.

Laughing with friends from the ward.
Night out to the Mets game. (oh and here's a bad picture of my new hairdo). I'm liking it better now that I can use my own products and such.

HAPPY SUMMER EVERYONE!

Finally hung up my artwork

This is one of my silkscreens I did last semester. It is a design I created in Illustrator and printed off center using CMYK on homemade paper. I like how it turned out so we decided to hang it in the house.

My new 'do

Well, it didn’t go as I expected…never does…I think I look more like this
than the picture of Halle Berry below.
Seriously, sweet.
